You are the reason

I’m leaving my home here.

You and your seasons

are making it very clear.

And if you’d ever leave tomorrow there’d be no morning inside.

And when my heart is feeling sorrow, in your Word I confide.

You’re like a lantern on a foggy sea

Shining out your light for me.

Spread my sails and let them bring me closer.

You are the reason I’m leaving my home here.

You and your seasons, are making it very clear.

And if that ocean starts to claim me,

I’ll hold my mast to your light.
