I’ve seen so many rivers;
they’ve all lead me to the sea
A search for true simplicity,
only sank along my way.
I’ve seen so many mountains;
they’ve all kept me from my dreams.
I’d surmount them it would seem.
But I never saw their peaks.
These past few days, I’ve changed my ways, I’ve swam the oceans.
I’ve seen His light that’s shining bright above the mountains...
I’ve come to find my home.
I’ve come to find my home.
Like a new day when it’s born.
Like a picture in a poem.
Like a Sunday morning memory.
My home.
The world is filled with children
crying for somebody’s love
And except for His above,
all their cries go out in vain.
I’ve seen too many people who have eyes but never see
Blind to all the prophecy, while they feast on poor men’s souls.
These past few days I’ve changed my ways I’ve changed my ways
Filled with compassion.
I hope to see the day ahead unlike the last one.
I’ve come to find my home.
I’ve come to find my home.
Like a new day when it’s born.
Like a picture in a poem.
Like a child born in Jesus.
My home.
