Jesus May Come Today

You tell me the way you run your life is swell.

And the things that you do won’t mean a thing ‘til judgement day.

You tell me you’ve got your choice between heaven or hell,

Well believe what you want but I’ve got one thing I’ve gotta say;

Jesus may come today.

You wreck your body day and night for love of drink.

Just take a look at the earthly pleasures you now defend.

The Lord may come again a lot sooner than you think

And the things that you question now will all come to an end.

The Word of God has put it plain and true

Just live an unselfish, humble life that’s pure from down inside.

He said walk in the light is all we need to do.

Then a crown of life from Him, we won’t be denied.
